My name is Ryan Gately, I am a graduate from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Business with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration focused in accounting. I was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM and have lived in Albuquerque since 2009. As an Enrolled Agent (EA), I am admitted to practice before the IRS representing my clients. EA’s are tax experts and hold the IRS’s highest credential. Generally speaking, EAs are similar to CPAs but focused on tax. 

My goal as an EA is to help the Santa Fe & Albuquerque community with their tax needs. Before becoming an EA, I worked for six years as an staff accountant preparing tax returns at Mary K Silver CPA. I also worked for various firms and on my own as a bookkeeper. My aim as a tax professional is to make tax season smooth for my clients and provide quality financial guidance to individuals and businesses. One of my passions is local business and it inspires me to see them succeed.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and staying involved with the local sports community. I am currently the Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Sandia Prep High School in Albuquerque. I look forward to building a relationship with you and assisting with your tax needs.
